According to National Geographic, these are some of the top spots to photograph in our beautiful Lebanon.
1. The Roman Ruins, Tyre (Sour)
The ancient city in the South of Lebanon is home to a fishing harbor, the “Triumphal Arch”, and Roman hippodrome, which all show off the deep history of the country.
2. Corniche, Beirut
Located in Beirut’s Central District along the side of the Mediterranean coast, this seaside promenade witnesses the daily hustle and bustle of Beiruti life, which is definitely worth capturing.
3. Mansouri Great Mosque, Tripoli
Built during the Mamluk period (1294-1314), this Mosque is the remains of St. Mary’s Crusaders’ Church, and although the architecture is not elaborate, it is quite a sight to see.
4. Temple of Baalbek, Baalbek
Just 85 km Northeast of Beirut, the ruins in Baalbek are perfect photography material and offer a day well spent among history and under the sun.
5. Bcharre, Kadisha Valley
Located in Kadisha Valley of Northern Lebanon, Bacharre is home to the famous Cedars of Lebanon, and is the birthplace of Lebanese poet and artist Khalil Gibran, so between culture and nature, you’re set.
